Windows DLL-based injectors
Template:Ii DLL injectors can be used to use custom textures with games that either don't support custom textures, or are picky about how textures are used.
- Special K - Supports DirectX 9 and 11, as well as OpenGL 1-4. Supports DirectX 8 and DirectDraw 7 via the DgVoodoo plugin. Can be used with DirectX 7 and earlier or Glide by using dgVoodoo 2 to wrap to DirectX 11 first. Glide can alternatively be wrapped to DirectX 9 via nGlide instead. (guide for texture dumping and replacement in DX11; note about differences for DX9)
- TexMod / uMod - Supports DirectX 9.
- DxWnd - Supports certain 32-bit DirectX games.Template:Cn
